- I lived in Portugal for one year in 2008-2009, teaching at an international school, before deciding I'd much rather work with Young Life! I moved back to the states, lived and fundrasied there for a year and a half, and then got engaged! My Portuguese fiance and I decided it was time for me to move back to Portugal, and God certainly provided at the right time. I'm not yet fully funded to work full time with Young Life, but I'm filling in as a teacher in a local international school while I fundraise with the Young Life Portugal team. It's an amazing adventure--with new possibilities, opportunities, and craziness every day. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
